What are we up to today?

We love sharing an intimate, realistic look at our day to day process on social media. This helps people who are interested in our projects have an up to date look at where each project stands and how they progress, but we also hope it can help young filmmakers get a sense of how they could be running their own productions!

Hotel security cameras DEFINITELY caught me walking back to my room COVERED in fake blood around midnight after one of our shoots. When you spend enough time on set covered in blood, you legit forget it’s there, and it’s easy to go about normal business, which can be pretty alarming for…literally everyone else. Thank goodness no crimes happened in that hotel that night, because I think your girl would have had a pretty hard time explaining this look. I have to admit though, walking back into my room, with my leftovers in hand, and immediately catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror and realizing what I had just done was pretty hilarious. Such is life in horror 🥰

What’s a little blood between friends? Horror friends, that is. It’s actually encouraged!! Being friends is great but…does it translate to work? HELL NO. It’s a completely different relationship. People often comment on how much they love that everyone who works here are also best friends, and that’s true (except Molly, we see her more as our queen and than a peer.) but it’s not that easy. I’ve kissed a lot of frogs to find my princesses, and it’s desperately hard to know when you’ve found “the one.” That’s why Molly put together our newest article on Creatoce partnerships.
